Digital parking management: Leipzig University Hospital has digitalized its parking areas together with K+S Parkraumservice and the technology provider Peter Park . More than 12,000 drivers per month now park with the technology from Peter Park. Automatic license plate recognition is used at entrances and exits. A data protection-compliant registration of license plates controls all parking processes.
When entering the parking lot, a camera records the license plate number and stores it together with the time. The camera only records the license plate, but not the vehicle occupants. Before leaving the parking area, the parking transaction is paid for. Visitors and patients can then leave the parking area - without any backups at barriers or annoying parking tickets.
Management dashboard and digital employee activation
Via the browser-based Peter Park dashboard, all integrated parking spaces can be centrally administered and optimized by the operator. The viewing of analyses (utilization, payment rate) enables new insights and the identification of previously unused potential. By assigning digital parking permits, employees and visitors can be quickly and easily registered as long-term or short-term parkers.
Ticketless payment
Peter Park has also installed a new parking machine: Here, users simply enter their license plate number to pay - an environmentally harmful paper ticket becomes obsolete. Payment is now also possible by debit and credit card and Apple Pay via NFC.
It's even easier via our partner PayByPhone. The parking app is integrated at Peter Park . Parking transactions can be paid conveniently via the app. Especially in times of Covid-19, a contactless and contagion-free parking process offers a great advantage through ticketless entry and exit as well as a hygienic, cashless app payment. Billing takes place shortly before exit on the basis of the actual parking time - in line with the motto 'only pay what you use'.
