The NH Hotel Nürnberg City is located a stone's throw from the main train station and Nuremberg's famous Old Town. Due to limited parking spaces in this area, guests are dependent on the hotel's own underground parking garage. Until now, visitors had to wait in front of barriers and be admitted by hotel staff to get into the garage. Repairs and maintenance costs for the barrier system resulted in economic losses.
The barrier-free parking system enables seamless entry and exit from the hotel's underground parking garage. The vehicle's license plate number is read by a scanner when entering and exiting the car park, making barrier systems unnecessary. Hotel guests pay at reception by entering their license plate number, visitors pay via the Easypark app. Paying at a machine is therefore no longer necessary. Automated parking management processes reduce effort and costs for hoteliers.
Thanks to the digital parking solution, guests can easily enter the parking area before check-in. This reduces backlogs at the entrances and exits of the hotel and relieves staff at reception. Non-hotel guests also benefit from the new parking system, as they can conveniently use and pay for the parking area via the app.
