The Peter Park system GmbH registers to its business success in the year 2021 now the expansion into the Austrian market. Groundbreaking for the market entry is the close cooperation of Peter Park with PAYUCA as an established and strong local partner of the real estate industry in Austria. The first joint use case is Green Point, an innovative residential and commercial construction project in Wiener Neustadt.
Munich, July 7, 2021 - Barriers that cause congestion and are prone to malfunctions are a thing of the past: With the new parking technology standard, parkers in selected publicly accessible parking areas in Austria will no longer have to pass through barriers with immediate effect. The digitized parking area with automatic license plate recognition forms an integral part of a modern and resource-saving smart city concept.
This is made possible by the Peter Park system: the license plate scanner system - developed by the Munich-based technology company Peter Park System GmbH - recognizes the vehicle's license plate number as it enters and exits the car park. In this way, ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) automatically determines how long a vehicle has been parked in the parking lot and what parking fee is due. Payment is made conveniently via one of the leading parking apps or at the ticket machine.
The Peter Park system is already represented on more than 80 sites in Germany and acts as a system supplier for established parking companies and municipalities. With the market entry in Austria, Peter Park System GmbH pursues the mission to internationalize digital parking management. As experts for digital parking management, Peter Park System GmbH provides the technology for successful parking management and control, and informs about current topics of digitalization and mobility.
For a successful market entry, Peter Park additionally relies on strong local partners. PAYUCA 's comprehensive product portfolio offers an access system for digitizing garage management for long-term parkers as well as vacancy utilization via short-term parking rental. Through the interface between the Peter Park system and PAYUCA, hybrid parking management requirements, such as the connection of a public short-term parking space with a long-term parking garage behind it, can now be implemented efficiently and leanly. This brings together the leading approaches from the real estate industry and traditional parking management and creates new standards of user-friendliness.
"We are pleased to now also implement projects in Austria. Using our modular operating system and a cloud-based platform, parking processes are recorded digitally. Drivers can make contactless and cashless payments directly on site via app or at the machine with a generous touch display - of course still with cash, if desired. Through the cooperation with PAYUCA, we are significantly expanding the possibilities of digital parking management for our customers," says Stefan Schenk, co-founder of Peter Park.
Zeljko Omerovic, Head of Projects & Sales at PAYUCA Parking Solutions commented:
"PAYUCA and Peter Park jointly create incomparable added value by covering all business areas of parking management through this cooperation. Our concept includes the management of long-term parkers and that of Peter Park that of short-term parkers, visitors and app parkers in open spaces. Green Point in Wiener Neustadt is thus our first barrier-free use case for the holistic digitization of parking, which will be followed by others in Austria."
By digitizing garage management for long-term parkers, PAYUCA ensures uncomplicated access to closed garages with minimal and location-independent administrative effort using license plate recognition, NFC chip or via smartphone in a matter of seconds.
If a car drives onto the parking area of the real estate object, it is automatically registered by the Peter Park system via license plate recognition. If it is a long-term parker, which PAYUCA has stored in the Smart Access system, this is immediately recognized by the interfaces of both providers. "PAYUCA and Peter Park have worked out and implemented the best possible solution for our complex case with two parking spaces connected by a garage with a great deal of commitment," says Green Point Managing Director Dr. Vitaliy Kryvoruchko.
Peter Park is a digital parking system that makes parking tickets, barriers and parking discs superfluous. Peter Park System GmbH transforms parking spaces into mobility hubs by providing parking operators and municipalities with automatic license plate recognition and cloud-based management software. The system from Munich was launched in 2019 and is already in use at over 80 spaces in Germany and Austria.
In April 2023, the parking area of the Söllereckbahn was digitalized with the smart parking system from Peter Park . Since then, operators and visitors to the leisure facility have benefited from the barrier-free system through seamless parking processes, reduced waiting times and ticketless payment.
