People who need to get to the station are often in a hurry. The operator of the parking lot at the main station in Linz wanted to save commuters and train passengers the additional stress of having to stop at barriers at the entrance and therefore had Peter Park 's digital, barrier-free parking management system installed in 2023.
The parking garage is not only ideally located for long-distance travelers and commuters, visitors to the nearby city center and the surrounding offices also like to park their vehicles here. They can now all park conveniently and seamlessly, as the new system not only works without barriers but also without tickets, which can get lost. Instead, the system scans the license plates at the entrance and exit and automatically calculates the parking time. At the end of their stay, parkers pay at the user-friendly machines or via the parking app by entering their license plate number.
The digital solution is not only user-friendly, it also requires very little hardware on site and therefore reduces acquisition, maintenance and servicing costs. At the same time, it increases efficiency by automating parking processes and thus creates a modern, seamless parking experience with negligible administrative effort for Bahnhofparkhaus Linz GmbH.
Parkers now drive in and out of the parking garage without having to stop at the entrance and exit. There are also no more parking tickets that can get lost, instead parkers pay at the end of their stay by entering their vehicle registration number at easy-to-use machines or via the EasyPark app
