Until 2023, parking space management in Fiss and Ladis was carried out using machines where parkers had to buy a ticket. A security company checked the parking tickets. The parking situation in the Tyrolean vacation region is complex - with access roads to hotels and parking spaces allocated to partner businesses. A barrier-based system was therefore out of the question as a new parking management solution. Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis decided to introduce the barrier-free, digital Peter Park system in eight parking areas.
Visitors to the family-friendly mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis can now drive to their destination without any obstructive barriers. The first signs indicating the digital parking management system can already be seen by holidaymakers in the valley. When many skiers and snowboarders arrive at the same time in the morning during the peak winter sports season, they can park in an orderly manner without queues. User-friendly machines with simple menu navigation are available on site for payment. Alternatively, visitors can pay conveniently online.
The solution automates the parking management processes and customer service is available to answer questions from parkers - which takes the pressure off employees. The introduction of the parking system across the entire ski resort now offers visitors a uniform parking experience. As the solution has now proved its worth, it is currently being installed in other parking areas.
We were looking for a parking space management system that works with little effort and is state of the art. In a comparison of several solutions, the Peter Park system convinced us.
