Travelers can find Swiss branded products in the stores at the Würenlos service area all year round. However, the service area is particularly well known for its bridge restaurant over the A1, nicknamed the "Fressbalken". The shopping service area was looking for a user-friendly, digital and barrier-free parking management system. A key requirement was that payment should be possible both online and directly on site at the machine.
The shopping service area opted for Peter Park's parking management system. When entering and exiting, a scanner records the vehicle's license plate and calculates the parking time. There is no need for a traditional paper or plastic parking ticket, which saves costs and reduces waste. Payment is made simply by entering the number plate.
The shopping service area offers parkers convenient payment options to suit every need: visitors can either buy a digital ticket in advance in the online store by entering their license plate number, pay directly on arrival by card at the machine or conveniently online up to 24 hours after their stay. Travelers who only want to have a quick bite to eat or do some shopping can park for up to two hours free of charge.
Users benefit from even simpler processing. The system enables travelers to travelers a pleasant onward journey, even if payment is lost on the spot.
